Adhering to the concept of international development, the Center for Health Policy Research and Evaluation, Renmin University of China focuses on strengthening international cooperation and exchanges, and actively builds communication channels to international health policies and management. The center strives to achieve the diversification of academic research, the internationalization of local theories and the globalization of talent training.
At present, the center cooperates with international universities including University of Birmingham, Boston University, Hitotsubashi University, University of New South Wales, University of Technology Sydney, Sciences Po, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong and so on. Besides, the stable partnership has been established with international organizations such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the World Health Organization, and UNICEF. Frequent and deep communications with our partners are conducted in scientific research, joint teaching, personnel training, visiting scholar exchange, and international conferences.
The center has obtained important achievements in partnership with international academic partners since establishment. It has completed a lot of major research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, international organizations, the Ministry of Finance, and the National Health Commission. International academic conferences and workshops have been held jointly in China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Hong Kong. Bilateral talent training programs have been set up and a number of postdoctoral, doctoral and master students from the center visited cooperative universities.
